LAS CRUCES - A truck carrying a partial shipment of 6,300 top-rated air filters arrived at the Las Cruces Public Schools warehouse on Wednesday. The MERV 13 filters are required to be in place at all New Mexico public school districts before students can return to in-person learning under the hybrid model.   “The majority of our parents support a return to the classroom as soon as it is safe to do so,” said Dr, Karen Trujillo, Superintendent at LCPS. “Having these filters in place gets us one step closer to that day.”
