Dr. Starsky Wilson: A Vision for Childhood Well-Being Rev. Dr. Starsky Wilson, President and CEO of the renowned Children’s Defense Fund and CDF Action Council will be guest speaker for this event. The audience will learn more about the nation’s strongest voice for children and it’s vision for the future. Rev. Myra Brown, pastor of Spiritus Christi Church and founder of the Spiritus Anti-Racism Coalition, SPARC, will also speak, along with other community members. This is a fundraiser for the future Minister Franklin D. Florence Civil Rights Heritage Park within Baden Park in Rochester. Organized by SPARC and partner churches, sponsored by The Black Community Focus Fund.
