Eedris Abdulkareem was once desperate to support Buhari, says Keyamo

Keyamo who took to Twitter revealed that the song is a poor attempt at blackmail. According to the Minister, Eedris Abdulkareem who is displaying a stance against the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), once begged to be part of the Buhari Campaign Organisation which he directed in 2018. Keyamo who showed screenshots of chats between both of them also said Eedris Abdulkareem begged to be introduced to the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami; the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.

The four minutes song which featured other Nigeria artists like Nigga Raw, also criticized the President Muhammadu Buhari administration which it described as a “democracy military” as well as the activities of the military during the #EndSARS protest. The Nigeria JagaJaga crooner in the remix of the original version which was released with a video a few weeks ago, questioned the position of the Minister in the President Buhari administration, saying, “Where Festus Keyamo sef? He don dey chop with cabal oh.”

He don dey chop with cabal o”. Responding, Keyamo took to his Twitter page, revealing that Eedris had begged for money and was desperate in 2018 to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign. His tweets read: “Abdulkareem just released a song, ‘jagajaga reloaded’, where he waxed the following lyrics, “where Festus Keyamo sef? He don dey chop with cabal oh”. I laughed out so loud and even danced to the rhythm too. But there is a small story behind this poor attempt at blackmail.
