The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has imposed an environmental compensation (EC) of Rs 153.66 crore on four builders for violating environmental norms and not complying with the solid waste management (SWM) rules at their six projects in the Kundli area of Sonepat.

GUWAHATI: An online event in relation with inauguration of National Green Corps (NGC)-Eco Club at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Khanapara was organised on Wednesday afternoon in the presence of students and teachers of the school along with a galaxy of dignitaries.
The prime objective of the event was to make K.V. Khanapara a part of the network of more than 1.5 lakh Eco Clubs of the country established under the scheme National Green Corps, a flagship campaign of the Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Govt. of India.
