‘Efforts on to resolve land dispute in NW’

MIRANSHAH: Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Shahid Ali Khan has said that a jirga is underway to resolve the tense situation arising out of a land dispute between Borakhel and Eidak tribes.
“Ceasefire has been ensured and hopefully, the jirga under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Daulat Khan and Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Mir Ali Abbas Afridi will resolve the issue soon,” the official added.
He said that Bannu-Miranshah Road was
open for traffic and added that leaders of Utmanzai Jirga were also involved in the talks being held in accordance with local traditions.
