Minority rights groups in Montreal will protest Bill 96 in Quebec following concern amongst advocates from different sectors such as health and education. The demonstration will begin at 10.30 a.m.

English groups in Montreal say they plan to protest against Quebecs Bill 96, which aims to strengthen the provinces French language.

Quebec schools saw a 38% drop in COVID absences this week.

Côte St. Luc council last week unanimously repeated its call for the Quebec government to remove the proposed expanded language law Bill 96 from the order paper.

Cote Saint-Luc councillors are asking Quebec to continue to meet virtually amid virus concerns as the province compels municipalities to resume in-person council meetings.
