Greensboro shooting on Mizell Road, investigation underway

Updated: 4:09 PM EST Mar 9, 2021 WXII12.com Web Staff A man is under arrest and charged for multiple shootings Friday.On March 2, 0fficers responded to an aggravated assault on the 3800 block of Mizell Road at 10:03 p.m. One subject, identified as Dari Meadows, was located with injuries from apparent gunfire, according to Greensboro police. Meadows was transported to a local hospital and was reported dead by Greensboro police March 9.Police said the shooter was Timothy Daniel Franklin, 24, of Greensboro. He was arrested and charged with assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and placed in the custody of the Guilford County Jail on $200,000 bail. After Meadows died March 9, Franklin s charge has been upgraded to first degree murder and the case is now being investigated as a homicide, according to police.During the investigation, detectives learned Franklin was also responsible for a shooting at Elmwood and Cornwallis drives
