ZAGREB (Croatia), February 23 (SeeNews) - Croatia s baking company Zagrebacke Pekarne Klara [ZSE:ZPKL] said its consolidated net profit rose to 38.8 million kuna ($6.2 million/5.1 million euro) in 2020, from 1.4 million kuna a year earlier.
Klara s operating revenue rose by 13% to 214.5 million kuna, while its operating costs fell 4% to 177.7 million kuna, the baking company said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Monday.
The company s total assets fell slightly to 189.9 million kuna at the end of December, from 191.9 million kuna at end-2019.
As of February 23, local individual Dragica Plodinec is the largest shareholder in the bakery firm with a 24.54% stake, followed by a flour-milling company Plodinec with 19.97%, insurer HOK Osiguranje with 17.62% and bakery retail chain Mlin i Pekare with 15.57%, ZSE data showed.
