ground, conor? reporter: jon, as you said, nato air strikes have helped rebels in and around ajdabiay today. one big change we re hearing in terms of the way nato and rebels communicate, we re told that the rebels were told by nato to hold off, to stay in ajdabiya before they engage with qaddafi s forces and once nato gives the go ahead, then the rebel forces were able to leave ajdabiya to engage with qaddafi force, so this is a big step forward in terms of communication between nato and rebels in the past few weeks. we ve seen major problems between the two groups communicating to each other. we also saw when we were in ajdabiya today a lot more coordination between the rebels and the sort of volunteer fighters and the more professional opposition army that is starting to emerge here. they were actually controlling the rebels, the rag tag, once keeping them back from the fighting, then also having them supply the more organized discipline
