Mobile Recess Program News Today

The programs aim to provide Long Beach youth with a safe place to partake in extracurriculars.

- ADVERTISEMENT - The extended sessions will  run from April 12 through June 18 and include the free Mobile Recess Program, Community Learning Hubs and the Virtual After School Programs and the After School Camps, which cost $10 per child each week. The free Mobile Recess Program, which runs from 3 to 5 p.m. weekdays in various locations in the city allows for supervised play times where kids ages 5 to 14 can play with arts and crafts, sports and other recreation equipment.
