Barrow man, 81, dies after crash Police are probing the one car collision on Ironworks Road in Barrow at about 3.50pm yesterday. The collision involved a blue Peugeot 208. A 56-year-old man has died following an incident in Maryport, Cumbria Police have confirmed. The incident occurred at approximately 8.45pm on Thursday May 6 on Victory Crescent. A cyclist was found in the road after falling from his bicycle. The man was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary where he was pronounced dead on May 8.
