AirFest takes to the skies, this week in Abilene
After missing last year due to the pandemic, the annual Big Country AirFest will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Abilene Regional Airport.
The theme will be The Golden Age of Bombers, featuring the B-25 Devil Dog and other vintage and experimental aircraft.
Admission is free, and masks are required. Entry will be at the west gate, with parking available on Runway 4/22. For information, go to bigcountryairfest.org.
Western Heritage
The annual Western Heritage Classic will begin with ranch horse competition at 7 a.m. Thursday at the Taylor County Expo Center, with competitions and trade shows continuing through Saturday.

iPhone, iPad and Mac User Group
The iPhone, iPad and Mac User Group will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Mockingbird Branch of the Abilene Public Library, 1326 N. Mockingbird Lane. We will look at the practical ways to use the iPhone and iPad.
Class will meet on the first and third Thursdays in April and May. Masks are encouraged, but not required. Those who do not feel well should not attend.
