Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday attacked the Congress a day after expelled party leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam's claim that Rahul Gandhi had plans to overturn the Supreme Court's decision on Ram Mandir.

The opposition party’s remarks came after Modi on Sunday accused Gandhi of insulting India’s rajas and maharajas but remaining silent on the atrocities committed by nawabs, nizams, sultans and badshahs for the sake of appeasement politics.

Modi claimed on Sunday that if the Congress comes to power, people’s property would be distributed among ‘infiltrators’ who ‘have more children’.

“Making baseless references to things and making false accusations on opponents is the speciality of the training of RSS and BJP,” Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said in a post on social media.

"Since the Mandir Marg police station refused to accept the complaint, it has been sent to the commissioner of police, Delhi," the party said.
