HC orders govt to take action against syndicates of essential commodities, hoarders

High Court says Competition Act must be enforced to prevent manipulation of market prices

The High Court today said monopoly and hoarding of daily essentials, including soybean oil, by the business syndicate for extra profit is not acceptable.
