Zarif responded to a statement by outgoing President Donald Trump, who attributed a bombing on Sunday against the US mission in Baghdad to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Trump did not produce any evidence to substantiate his accusation. The information disclosed by the Iranian foreign minister confirms messages from the Republican tycoon during the Barak Obama administration (2009-2017), in which he warned about a probable attack by his predecessor to seek reelection.
