Director Mohan Raja and actor Jayam Ravi have officially confirmed the sequel to the hit film Thani Oruvan in a recent promo video. Titled Thani Oruvan 2, the film will have a role reversal, with the villain actively seeking out the protagonist. Nayanthara will reprise her role as the love interest, while Sam CS will take over as the music composer. The rest of the cast is yet to be revealed. Produced by AGS Entertainment, shooting for the film is expected to start soon.
