A magnitude 6.0 quake jolted the Molucca Sea today at 08:18 am, reaching 110 km in depth, announced the National Centre for Seismology (NCS). Awaited details follow this seismic event. Similarly, earlier this year, on April 21 at 3:51 pm local time, a 6.0 quake struck the northern Molucca Sea, at 72 km depth, as reported by NCS. Notably, in April, a 4.4 Richter scale tremor hit 16 km West Southwest of Sabang, Indonesia, as per the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
