The new store opened on Monday A BRAND new shop has opened at Gateshead s Metrocentre - and boasts to be one of the retailer s first of its kind in the UK. Sky has opened one of its first ever bricks and mortar shops in the country with a brand new unit in the Gateshead shopping centre. Aiming to bring together Sky Mobile, Sky Broadband and Sky TV, the new shop is a first for the company, which has previously only used smaller kiosks. The store, which is in the red mall adjacent to House of Fraser, has been seperated into designated spaces, allowing customers to try out different products.
