I am happy to share that our state legislature has passed a FY22 supplemental and the Fiscal Year 2023 budget, which, when signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, will provide an increase in operating funds for Western Illinois University, as well as providing funding for essential capital projects. WIUs FY22 higher education state appropriation will increase to $52.1 million, which is five percent greater than WIUs current state appropriation of $49.6 million.
