These mighty Leopards are shaking off the year with giant maracas!
Far from a traditional school year, the 2020-21 year left students and teachers facing significant changes and challenges.
At United South Middle School, the art club is ending the year on a creative note and shaking their way to summer. The club has been working tirelessly to complete these super-sized sculptures. Measuring over 13 feet long and over four feet tall, these papier-mache maracas astound all who see them. They have been viewed by over one million people worldwide on social media, and they have also caught the interest of Ripley’s Believe It or Not; these maracas are unbelievable!
