China on Friday reported its first case of Monkeypox in Chongqing city after a person who arrived from abroad developed rashes while in COVID-19 quarantine.

The Central government has decided to postpone making an emergency purchase of the monkeypox vaccine.

Theoretically, yes. The virus does not spread easily and there is a vaccine. But there are only about 16 million doses available now.
