This morning, I was initially drawn to a map showing the different industry regions of Washington State, in 1945 - under the direction of Secretary of State Belle Reeves. I then went on an information binge on the life of this extraordinary Chelan County resident - and found gold.

In 1966 Tacoma Community College dedicated the Pearl A. Wanamaker Library. Its continuing mission is “to teach and promote information literacy, collect and provide access to relevant and diverse academic resources, and provide a welcoming, supportive environment for students, faculty, and staff.”
