When a burglary or robbery occurs in the neighborhood, then the police will know by simply looking at a google map who they can call in the neighborhood to ask for permission to look at videotape. Fremont was one of the first to start such a program. Police were able toee this burglary suspect in surveillance video. San joses program was passed by the city council this afternoon.
