According to the unofficial election summary issued by the county, 20,225 Monroe residents voted a straight Republican Party ticket in this election.

In her new role, Laura Schultz Pipis succeeds the retiring Connie Carroll. Pipis has been the agencys associate director since 2018.

Laura Schultz Pipis was previously the associate director for the United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties. She became executive director July 1.

Christian J. Horkey has filed as candidate for Monroe County First District Court Judge; seeing a position that will be vacated by Jack Vitale.
