Yesterday. lake shore drive was shut down because of so many stranded motorists and vehicles because of the snow drifts up to waist high. the fire department actually rescued all 100 people who were stranded. i can tell you there are major snow drifts all around downtown chicago. some people are waking up, coming out, taking pictures to see all this snow blanketing their city. clearly, very dangerous conditions. and we have one report of a death with one person watching the waves on the lake and...
