Carrot River residents will soon be heading to the polls to elect their next mayor. The position opened up when Dennis Letendre resigned in March due to health concerns. Roman Charko and Dylan Borody have submitted nomination papers to fill the position. The byelection has been scheduled for May 12 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Carrot River Community Hall.
