There was some fruitful conversations on The Morning Cruise today. Dave got us started by telling us about a lemon that just sold at auction for a high price. Carmen followed that up with a recommendation for Avocado mash for those that tend to forget the avocados they bought before they go bad.
Bill then turned to the topic of marriage and how grace within the union can help the marriage grow in its later years and keep it from going sour. That seed of an idea was planted by Paul David Tripp in his book on marriage. And it takes tending to it daily to make it work.
For us to grow the radio station, it takes a bountiful amount of listeners giving towards FriendRaiser which is just over 3 weeks away!
Dave shared a sweet moment from the latest season of American Idol. The show hasn't even started yet, but a video of one audition is going viral as it features a contestant singing, "There Was Jesus" by Zach Williams and Dolly Parton. That contestant was given a bigger surprise after her audition.
Bill challenged Dave and Carmen to a brand new game he brought to show "based on popular demand" with what he called "Riddle Me This Friday".
Dave seemed a little bit sour towards the idea that Carmen had about getting 100 people to give towards FriendRaiser this morning. But it was only a matter of time before she saw the fruits of her efforts multiply.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, Dave, Bill and Carmen spent the morning sharing some of the interesting things they've found recently.
Bill wants to institute an Icelandic tradition. Dave told us about one man who found a 4-carat diamond he thought was glass. Bill shared a devotional book from his friend Justin Holcomb, that he wanted to give to a history buff.
We've been finding sugar ants around the office lately with all the sugary treats around. Yesterday, The Jayar Show, brought more sugar in with their gingerbread houses and Carmen was on high alert. And we've also found a scam page posing as The Jayar Show. If you get a message saying you've won a prize, don't click on it!
Dave found a college course on A Christmas Carol and aced the class, so he is now a certified expert on A Christmas Carol.
Carmen found a gift certificate for a foot spa that was set to expire so she took advantage of it last night and was thrilled with the results.
