The unveiling will be held at 5601 North Saginaw Street during Sheriff Chris Swanson’s 1 p.m. weekly news conference on Wednesday, April 21.
The new facility is an expansion of the department’s IGNITE program, which aims to break the cycle of generational incarceration negatively affecting families and communities. The program is made possible in partnership with Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools.
