Charleston police arrested a second driver in connection to the fatal hit-and-run on Morrison Drive that left two women dead near the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge.

A second suspect involved in the deadly hit-and-run collision on Morrison Drive that killed Lizzy Zito and Arianna Gamber was taken into custody.

Charleston police on Monday arrested a 32-year-old Summerville man as a second suspect in an April 28 hit-and-run that killed two.

Lizzy Zito and Arianna Gamber were hit by a car on Morrison Drive between 1:42 a.m. and 1:44 a.m. on April 28. Their bodies were not found until 8:32 a.m.

Max David Gentilin, the man who allegedly ran into Lizzy Zito and Arianna Gamber and fled the scene in downtown Charleston, was granted bond. Both women died.
