Veterans United Foundation is celebrating its 10 th anniversary in 2021 and the impact that Veterans United Home Loans employees have provided to communities across the country. Foundation staff is excited to preview big plans in store for the upcoming year, as sizeable donations will be awarded to military-based and community-centered charitable organizations in the Columbia area and throughout the United States.

National Survey Shows Veterans are Optimistic About Homebuying in 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic forced nearly half of Veterans to change their homebuying plans in 2020, but most Veterans are optimistic about buying in 2021 and plan to purchase within the next five years, according to a new national survey from Veterans United Home Loans.
Nearly two-thirds of Veterans believe the next 12 months will be a good time to buy a home, and about 1-in-3 plan to buy this year. A whopping 58 percent of Veterans – that’s 11.3 million people – plan to buy a home in the next five years, according to the survey of 900 Veterans, which was conducted by global research firm Kantar on behalf of Veterans United, the country’s largest VA purchase lender.

Veterans United Home Loans, the nation’s largest VA purchase lender, has been named the Best Mortgage Lender for VA Loans this year by The Ascent, a Motley Fool service.
The winners this year were selected based on perks, competitive interest rates, origination fees, diverse loan products and terms, customer service, and timely approvals according to The Ascent. They tout Veterans United for offering educational resources along with having military advisors from every branch. They also mention the online preapproval process on Veterans United’s platform.
