MotoGP Event: "The high-end preparations including hospitality, security arrangements, connectivity at MotoGP Bharat resulted in gathering of more than one lakh people from India and around the world at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida for the much-anticipated event hosted by India for the first time," the Uttar Pradesh government said.
Efforts are underway to bring Formula One back to India, according to senior officials at the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Talks are being held to reintroduce the supercar racing event at the Buddh International Circuit in 2025. The first Indian Grand Prix was held at the circuit in 2011 but was discontinued after the 2013 race due to the withdrawal of entertainment tax exemption.
MotoGP Bharat 2023: While Marco Bezzecchi became the first MotoGP rider to win the inaugural Grand Prix of India riding Mooney VR46 Racing Team to the top of the podium, the motorcycle portfolio put up on display took the centre-stage at the Fanzone, with the Ola Electric’s booth abuzz with the motorsport enthusiasts from all over the world showing a keen interest for a glimpse of the future of motorcycles.
