Mount Allison has created a new exchange partnership with Nordakademie University of Applied Sciences in Elmshorn, Germany. The partnership was established in December 2019 and the first two exchange students arrived at Mount Allison for the Fall 2021 term.   The idea was sparked by Mount Allison alumnus Dr. Rick Colbourne (‘84), who is currently the Associate Dean, Equity and Inclusive Communities at Carleton’s Sprott School of Business.

Mount Allison University’s holiday break is from end of business day Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 to Monday, Jan. 3, 2022. All University buildings will be closed during this time. Postuma was recently recognized with the Students’ Choice Award at the 2021 Canadian Undergraduate Physics Conference, hosted virtually by Ryerson University this fall.

SACKVILLE, NB — The Maple League of Universities, of which Mount Allison is a founding member, has received a $800,000 Global Skills Opportunity Grant to develop and launch a program for Indigenous students to participate in an international experience together. The program is called Nation to Nation: Building Indigenous Knowledge Across International Borders.

SACKVILLE, NB — Students at Mount Allison University will benefit from increased academic support services thanks to the generosity of Scotiabank. The bank has donated $400,000, creating the ScotiaSPARC (Student Academic Resource Centre) to assist academic support programs.
