The P.E.I. government finally released details on how it will address the shortage of long-term care beds on the Island, but it comes with a higher price tag for residents of the facilities.

The province has eased restrictions for Islanders in long-term and nursing care on Prince Edward Island. Depending on the facility, many residents can now go out shopping or to get a haircut, and can receive more visitors.
