Mar 15, 2021 BELLEFONTE — The 73rd annual Mount Nittany Medical Center Charity Ball raised more than $137,000, helping to advance the critical work of Mount Nittany Health’s Children’s Advocacy Center. This year, while it was not possible to physically gather, Mount Nittany Health Foundation, in conjunction with the Charity Ball committee — co-chaired by Gina Woskob and Tracie Doucette — invited community members to join them in making a difference in the lives of area children through gifts to the Center. Executive Director of the Children’s Advocacy Center, Meredith Thompson, shared, “On behalf of the children and families for which Mount Nittany Health Children’s Advocacy Center provides services, thank you! Thank you to the sponsors, donors and Charity Ball committee for envisioning the Charity Ball in a way that, without gathering, supported the Center’s vital work. Your donations will go right to work to care for and protect our smallest, most vulnerable community members.”
