A man who fell asleep driving home from work has had his dangerous driving conviction set aside and will be allowed to appeal, after saying an unknown medical illness was to blame for his crash. Work on the 14.7km long sewer tunnel from Grey Lynn to the Māngere Wastewater Treatment Plant started in 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2025.
