There are at least 66 Covid Patients at Regional Medical center, and the surge is straining hospital resources. We are at capacity. Theres essentially no more beds in the hospital to rapidly put the patients into their inpatient unit. Reporter the hospital continues to perform surgery and accept emergency patients. But elective surgeries have been put on hold. The Medical Center is also using beds in the postacute care unit to accommodate additional patients. Yeah, a lot of us in the valleys are not feeling the high winds but i am monitoring the Mountain Wind gusts that have been up to about 58 Miles Per Hour in the last hour especially in the north bay. With the high fire danger, the low humidity and the high winds will make it very dangerous for any sparks that could spread rapidly and were going to continue to have this wind advisory, those high winds, through at least this evening.
