Our CorrespondentKohima, Sep. 20 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio said package-III (14.210 km) of the four-lane road between Kohima-Dimapur (NH-29) has been “abandoned” by M/S Oasis Projects Ltd. construction firm at 28.06% work progress. The chief minister was replying to the starred question raised by MLA Yitachu and Dr. Chotisuh Sazo, on the status of the four-lane road during a two-day session of the 13th state assembly in Kohima. The work of the four-lane road, divided into packages I, II, and III, began in 2016. While package-I (14.935 km) and package-II (13.715 km) are almost completed, package-III is nowhere near completion. He said the project was announced by the then PM who visited Kohima in 2003. ‘But till today, we are struggling after 12 years.
