The Secretariat, reporting to the Reference Group and hosted by the UN Foundation, is responsible for the implementation of day-to-day activities. Marjorie is a Research Assistant in the Gender Violence & Health Centre at LSHTM. She is Coordinator of the Collaboration on Infidelity, Romantic Jealousy and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), which brings together partners from around the globe to better understand the mechanisms and pathways between infidelity, romantic jealousy, and IPV. She also supports research and dissemination for the Learning Initiative on Norms, Exploitation and Abuse (LINEA) project, a global initiative on how social norms can be used to prevent the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
Prior to this position she supported the writing of evidence-based health policy reports at the Insitutue of Medicine in Washington, DC. She holds an MSc in Public Health from LSHTM and a BA in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College. For her MSc dissertation she conducted a qualitative analysis of parental perceptions of transactional sex in Uganda.
