Citizens Prosecutor Academy begins Feb. 4
The State Attorney s Office is hosting a Citizens Prosecutor Academy class for those living in the 5th Judicial Circuit.
The classes, which begin Feb. 4, run for six weeks, and will be held at the Mulberry Grove Recreation Center at 8445 SE 165th Mulbberry Lane in The Villages from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Classes will be held on the following days: Feb. 4, Feb. 11, Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 4 and March 11.
State Attorney William Bill Gladson came up with the concept as a way to inform the public about the work of a prosecutor.
The 5th Judicial Circuit includes Lake, Marion, Hernando, Sumter and Citrus counties.
