A SPATE of knife crime in Oxford in recent weeks has shocked the community, leading to many people feeling worried and concerned.

THE cause of death of a man which sparked a murder investigation has been confirmed during an inquest.

RYAN GIBBONS, 27, of Annesley Road, Oxford, was fined £440 and banned from driving for 18 months after he admitted possession of cannabis and drink driving a VW Golf on Oxford Road. Tests showed he had 68mcgs in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He must pay £85 costs and a £44 victim surcharge.
