Hindustan Aeronautics Limited established COVID care Hospital in Lucknow, UP The UP Government will involve itself in hospital operations and management through Care India with focus on medicine availability, hospital consumables, logistic and management of oxygen refilling. New Delhi, May 11, 2021: The Defence Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh, and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited HAL COVID Care Hospital set up under HAL’s Corporate Social Responsibility at the Haj House, Lucknow today and appreciated the facilities and services provided for the Covid patients in a short span of time.   The 255 bedded Covid Care Hospital handed over to the state authorities by HAL is now open for patients. This facility includes 130 beds with oxygen support, 100 with High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) and 25 with ventilators. This hospital will be managed by the UP Government through Care India, an NGO and charity organization. IAF continues to airlift Oxygen tankers from across the globe; HAL sets up hospital in Lucknow Huma Siddiqui © Provided by The Financial Express Image: IAF Indian Air Force (IAF) continues to deploy its transport fleet to airlift Oxygen tankers and carry them across the globe and within the country. Overseas Missions Giving an update on the airlifts so far, according to the IAF, IL-76 is bringing 2 cryogenic oxygen containers from Jakarta, Indonesia, and then fly to Jamnagar (India). Another IL-76 is transporting 3 containers from Singapore to Panagarh. From Bordeaux, France to Hindan, a C-17 is flying in with Oxygen generators. Also C-17 is coming and on another C17 4 oxygen containers from Amsterdam to Panagarh.
