Pearl Global Industries shares rose 3.49% to Rs 715 against the previous close of Rs 690.85 on BSE. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 3036.21 crore.

Tata Power share price today: Tata Power stock was trading on a flat note in the second session of this year today. It stood at Rs 330.85 against the previous close of Rs 329.95 on BSE.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders emerges as the top performer among PSU companies, delivering consistent impressive returns since its listing in October 2020. Rail Vikas Nigam registered a remarkable return of 170% this year, while IRFC and IRCTC also showed strong performance.

The companys shares this year so far have risen nearly 115%. Following three consecutive months of lacklustre performance from December to February, the stock made a strong comeback. Over the next nine months, it recorded gains in eight of them.

Adani Power, Indias leading private thermal power producer, has presented an improved and revised offer of ₹4,100 crore to the lenders of Lanco Amarkantak Power, The Economic Times reported.

In the last week (December 04–08), the market capitalisation of Adani Green Energy, the renewable energy arm of the Adani Group, jumped by ₹83,000 crore, reaching ₹2,45,520 crore. Last week, the combined market value of ten listed companies increased by ₹3.21 lakh crore.

Indian Hotels share: The hotel stock, which closed at Rs 124.08 on December 10, 2020 rose to a high of Rs 441.55 in Monday's trade, clocking 255.85% returns during the period.   

Multibagger stock: Shares of Hazoor Multi Projects were stuck in the upper circuit of 5% at Rs 245.60 in early deals in the current session.

"Elections do bring volatility. If one were to look at data for the last 30 years, despite the short-term volatility around pre and post election results, markets have given positive returns in almost all the terms of different political parties across this period. Given that we have had a good run up in the recent past, our guess is that we may see higher volatility as the election season comes closer."

Multibagger stock: Avantel shares hit an intraday high of Rs 130, 5.60% higher on BSE. Market cap of the firm climbed to Rs 3104.12 crore.
