Mumbai on Friday recorded 871 new coronavirus cases, crossing the 800-mark for the second time this week and registering the highest daily count since July 1, while one more patient succumbed to the infection here, the city civic body said.
India on Tuesday reported a total of 12,751 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 4,41,74,650, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The Maharashtra capital had on Saturday reported 365 cases and two fatalities due to the deadly inflection, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation official said. Of the 376 new cases, only 24 were symptomatic
India reported 18,930 new coronavirus cases and 35 more virus-related deaths in the last 24 hours. The death count now stands at 5,24,305, according to the Union health ministry.
India on Saturday reported a total of 8,329 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours. The new additions have taken the total number of coronavirus cases in country to 4,32,13,435.
