According to the cops, one Mumtaz Shaikh lodged a complaint against the burglary on January 3, on the basis of which the duo was nabbed. The man was arrested from
Dharavi and the woman from neighbouring
Thane district's
Mumbra.
Police stated that the man had earlier got to know that the huge amount of cash was kept in the complainant's home in Dimtimkar Road. He had then offered the Mumbra woman Rs 10,000 to steal the cash.
