BBMP Special Commissioner, SWM, made a startling declaration. He said, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is all set to collect Rs 200 as user fee from households for door-to-door collection of garbage in the city. Now, coming at a time when people were facing financial crises and were in trouble due the pandemic and its aftermath, this was received with a huge furore.
