Curators are holding a new exhibition to showcase some of their recovered gems

Ten of the 2,000 or so treasures that went missing are on display in a new exhibition

Anne Snow, the executive director of Childrens Museum of La Crosse, is retiring after 27 years. The museum, which has welcomed over 1.4 million visitors since its opening in 1999, has a hands-on, affordable, and accessible approach to exhibits. Snow praised the business model and volunteers for guiding the museum through COVID-19 and setting a new high of 81,000 visitors in 2023. She plans to travel and visit family in retirement and anticipates continued involvement in the museum.
