Meet the new museum manager at the reopened Rome Historical Society

The Rome Historical Society was originally founded in 1936 and first opened on the third floor of the Jervis Public Library on North Washington. It moved to its current location at 200 Church St. in the 1980s and reopened in 1985. The Church Street building was a former U.S. Post Office. Its halls are filled with historical artifacts from more than 300 years of Rome history, including an extensive library of old city records and hundreds of thousands of photographs.
