HOBE SOUND, FL – Carl W. Coghlan, age 84, of Hobe Sound, Fla., passed away peacefully on July 13, 2021. He was born in Brookhaven, Miss., on Feb. 5, 1937, to the late June and Eunice Beck Coghlan.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria (Freis) Coghlan, his brothers, June (J.L.), Tom, Bobby and Charles Coghlan and his sisters, Lois Boyd, Janet McNutt and Faye Scrandrett. He is survived by his second wide and best friend, Marie (Mindala) and his brother, George of Brookhaven, Miss., as well as a host of family and friends.
Carl graduated from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, La. He served honorably in the United States Air Force and retired as general manager of Trademark Metals in West Palm Beach, Fla.
