(WMBF) - A person shot at Myrtle Beach bar last month has died, and four people are being charged in connection to the incident. Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said Saturday that the shooting happened March 25 at Donny’s Saloon on 3rd Ave. South in Myrtle Beach. Willard identified the victim as 26-year-old Jas’sier Wilson, of Surfside Beach. She added that Wilson died on April 2, but the coroner’s office was not notified of his death until Saturday.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department said Hunter James Cooper, of Clinton Township, Michigan, was taken into custody in relation to the case.

(WMBF) - A man is in custody after allegedly punching a detention officer in the face in Horry County, authorities said. According to an incident report from the Myrtle Beach Police Department, Chris Randall Fugate was charged in connection to the incident. The report states an officer was dispatched to the Myrtle Beach Jail at around 9:20 p.m. Thursday for a reported assault that happened while attempting to transport Fugate to J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
