Amazon dethrones H-E-B as nation s top grocer, according to new data from shopping report

Amazon recently dethroned H-E-B as the nation s top grocery retailer, according to a new consumer survey.
On Monday, Dunnhumby, a U.K.-based global consumer research company, released its fourth annual Retailer Preference Index, which uses grocery customer surveys and financial reports to rank the top-performing grocers nationally.
Although Amazon was named the best grocery retailer, H-E-B took second place. In last s year report, H-E-B claimed the top spot for its efforts in 2019. It was the first time the San Antonio chain took the No.1 spot. The grocer giant previously ranked at No. 4 in 2018 and 2017.
